The Northern Ireland Festival team is committed to ensuring that the Health and Safety and welfare of its volunteers is at the forefront of all of its activities.
The committee extends that same commitment to those volunteers who may be affected by our acts and requirements.
The committee requires the same commitment to health and safety from all of its volunteers for the implementation of this policy.
The committee undertakes to identify significant areas of risk and establish and maintain controls and to regularly monitor their effectiveness.
The committee as a matter of course will periodically review its own performance and keep abreast of developments in legislation, establish best practice and address any areas of concern.
Every person on the Cavan Equestrian Centre premises on which the Show takes place, whether before, during or after the Show shall be deemed to be there at their own risk and Cavan Equestrian Centre and Northern Ireland Festival exclude liability in respect of any injury sustained by any of them or any loss or damage to property which may occur from any cause whatsoever, save that nothing in this sub-condition shall be taken to exclude or restrict liability at law for death or personal injury to any person arising from Cavan Equestrian Centre’s negligence. Cavan Equestrian Centre and Northern Ireland Festival accepts no responsibility for any disease, accident, loss or fatal or non fatal injury caused to an animal participating at the show (including death, theft or injury). Provided always that nothing in this condition shall be taken to exclude or restrict Cavan Equestrian Centre’s or Northern Ireland Festivals liability at law for death or personal injury to persons arising from Cavan Equestrian Centre’s or Northern Ireland Festival’s negligence
