Congratulations if you have made it through to a working hunter final. These are the only classes you need to qualify for at NIF. So please familiarise yourself with how they operate to ensure you know what to expect on the day.
Competitors must declare at the ring prior to the start of their class.
No positions or rosettes are handed out at the end of the class.
Results will counted and verified by the show office. The top ten from each final will be shown on the NIF TV screen outside the show office. They will not be listed in any particular order. These are the competitors who will be required for the evening performance where final placings will be decided.
There is no jumping during the evening performance. Those who do not turn up for the evening performance will not be placed.
The horse / rider combination must remain the same in the evening as the final. Therefore competitors who have two rides in the same final can only take one into the evening. The other ride will not be placed. If you win your individual class, you go into the relevant supreme working hunter final on Sunday evening.
Remember: It is your responsibility to be at the ring on time. Due to the volume of competitors, we cannot hold any classes. Please be advised that the public address system may not be heard in all areas of the show-grounds.
